Businesses are required by state and federal laws to display certain posters prominently in the workplace. General requirements and ordering points, including Web sites for downloading and printing, are listed below. Contact your local Iowa Workforce Development office to obtain a 7-in-1 poster that includes the federally-required posters and the state-required posters.

Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations, 1903.2(a)(3) states that reproductions or facsimiles of the poster shall be at least 8 1/2 by 14 inches with 10 point type. The electronic downloadable file is only available in PDF format. The PDF file is a full-size reproduction and may be taken to most professional printing companies for full-size/full-color reproduction, lamination, etc.

In order to reproduce this poster from a personal computer, please note the following requirements and recommendations:

When preparing to print from a personal computer, first check and make sure that the target printer has the ability to produce the proper paper size (the minimum size is 8.5 x 14 inches). Set the Adobe Acrobat printer settings to "Shrink to Fit" and make sure to select the proper paper tray. NOTE: the particular variables and configurations for each printer may vary, so these instructions are only general. If you have any problems reproducing the poster on a personal computer printer, please check with the manufacturer or the Adobe software support team.
